The signal is real, but the evidence stays preliminary. - **Ashwagandha for Boost women's sexual function** — https://suplmnt.app/for/ashwagandha/libido Ashwagandha suggests a real lift in women's sexual function over 8 weeks, but the evidence is still preliminary and safety interactions deserve attention. - **Ashwagandha for Lose body weight** — https://suplmnt.app/for/ashwagandha/weight-loss Ashwagandha for weight loss: 5 small trials show only a tiny effect on body weight, with low confidence and important liver and drug-safety cautions. - **Berberine for Lower total cholesterol** — https://suplmnt.app/for/berberine/cholesterol Berberine lowers total cholesterol by 14.08 mg/dL on average across 23 trials—a real but not dramatic shift backed by strong, consistent evidence. - **Collagen for Lose body weight** — https://suplmnt.app/for/collagen/weight-loss Collagen shows a small but real edge for weight loss across 18 studies and 431 people. See who benefits, why the effect stays modest, and which side effects matter most. - **CoQ10 for Improve sperm movement for fertility** — https://suplmnt.app/for/coq10/fertility Across 10 studies in 7,573 men, CoQ10 improves sperm motility a little. The signal is positive, but the average gain looks small, not dramatic. - **CoQ10 for Lower LDL cholesterol** — https://suplmnt.app/for/coq10/cholesterol CoQ10 appears to lower LDL a little: 14 studies, 9367 people, average drop 9.18 mg/dL over 12 weeks. Moderately convincing evidence, small payoff. - **Magnesium for Improve sleep quality** — https://suplmnt.app/for/magnesium/sleep Does magnesium improve sleep quality? Across 7 trials in 317 people, the average effect looks small and inconsistent, so the evidence stays limited for most adults. - **Magnesium for Lose body weight** — https://suplmnt.app/for/magnesium/weight-loss Magnesium doesn't appear to lower body weight. Across 6 studies and 1,903 people, the scale stayed flat, with side effects and drug interactions worth knowing. - **Vitamin D (unspecified) for Lower systolic blood pressure** — https://suplmnt.app/for/vitamin-d/blood-pressure Across 9 studies and 4,952 people, vitamin D lowered systolic blood pressure by just 0.7 mmHg—consistent evidence, but too small to matter for most. - **Saffron for Reduce ADHD hyperactivity** — https://suplmnt.app/for/saffron/adhd Does saffron calm ADHD hyperactivity? Only 1 study addresses it, and the evidence stays too sparse for a firm call. Get dosing, safety, and caveats from trials. - **Vitamin D (unspecified) for Improve sleep quality** — https://suplmnt.app/for/vitamin-d/sleep Vitamin D appears to improve sleep quality, but the average gain stays below the usual noticeable threshold. They can help fill selected micronutrient gaps, but the evidence supports convenience and adequacy more than broad health transformation.[^5][^6] - **Are gummy vitamins worse than pills?** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/are-gummy-vitamins-worse-than-pills Gummy vitamins are not automatically worse, but regular pills are usually the better default if you care about complete mineral content, label accuracy, lower sugar, and cost. Choose a gummy only when it is the form you will take consistent… - **Melatonin Gummies Have a Label Accuracy Problem** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/are-melatonin-gummies-overdosed Yes, some melatonin gummies are meaningfully overdosed compared with their labels, but the stronger verdict is broader: gummy melatonin is an unreliable dosage form unless independently tested. In a 2023 analysis, measured melatonin ranged… - **Are Supplements FDA Approved?** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/are-supplements-fda-approved No. Dietary supplements are generally not FDA approved before sale. They are FDA regulated under food law, while companies are responsible for product safety, labeling, and legal claims before products reach consumers.[^1][^2] - **The Vegan Multivitamin Worth Buying** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/best-multivitamin-for-vegans If you are vegan or mostly plant-based, choose a multivitamin that reliably covers vitamin B12, iodine, vitamin D, zinc, and selenium. Supplements Still Worth Considering** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/do-you-need-supplements-if-you-eat-healthy If you eat a healthy, varied diet, you probably do not need a daily multivitamin, but you might still need a targeted supplement based on pregnancy possibility, age, sun exposure, diet pattern, menstrual blood loss, or a diagnosed deficienc… - **Acetyl-L-carnitine and TMAO** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/does-acetyl-l-carnitine-raise-tmao Yes. Oral ALCAR can sharply raise circulating TMAO, and that should make people with chronic kidney disease, dialysis, established cardiovascular disease, or heart failure think twice unless they have a compelling reason to use it.[^1][^7] - **Apple Cider Vinegar and Weight Loss** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/does-apple-cider-vinegar-help-weight-loss Apple cider vinegar is not a reliable weight loss solution. Small trials suggest modest short term weight changes, but the evidence is limited, and a widely publicized 2024 trial was later retracted for data and analysis concerns.[^1][^5] - **Does Ashwagandha Work?** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/does-ashwagandha-work-and-is-it-safe Ashwagandha appears to work modestly for stress and sleep in some adults, but it is not a general-purpose wellness upgrade. The myth comes mainly from one small rugby study that measured DHT, not hair loss, while the first direct hair outcomes trial found no effect on DHT or hair measures.[^1][^2] - **Creatine Is Not a Fat Loss Supplement** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/does-creatine-help-you-lose-fat Creatine does not reliably help people lose weight or lose meaningful fat. The best evidence shows it tends to increase body mass and fat free mass, while fat mass usually does not change much.[^1] - **Does Creatine Make You Gain Weight?** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/does-creatine-make-you-gain-weight Creatine can make you gain scale weight, especially early, but the gain is usually water stored with muscle creatine and, over time, more lean mass from training. It does not appear to increase fat mass in controlled studies.[^1][^2] - **Does Creatine Go Bad?** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/does-creatine-expire Yes, creatine can expire, but dry creatine monohydrate powder is chemically stable enough that it often remains usable past the printed date if it was stored cool, dry, and sealed. Old creatine is a discard if it smells wrong, changes color… - **Glutathione Is Not a Skin Breakthrough** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/does-glutathione-do-anything Glutathione supplements can raise some glutathione measures and may modestly reduce skin melanin in short trials, but the evidence does not support calling it a skin-brightening breakthrough or a broad antioxidant upgrade for healthy people… - **The Low Acid Theory of Reflux Gets GERD Wrong** — https://suplmnt.app/articles/perspective/does-low-stomach-acid-cause-gerd Low stomach acid does not explain GERD for most people.
