Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of suplmnt.app (the "Site") and the Suplmnt app for iOS (the "App"), both operated by Reseda Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our"). The Site and the App together are the "Services". By accessing or using either one, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

These Terms are also the Terms of Use (EULA) that apply to the App.

Description of the Services

The Site publishes summaries and analyses of published clinical research on dietary supplements, along with product label information drawn from public sources. The Site is provided free of charge. It does not offer accounts, and nothing is sold through it.

The App reads the same evidence library on your iPhone, lets you scan supplement labels with your camera, keep a private record of what you take, and run structured self-tracking experiments. The App does not require an account or a login. Downloading and using the App is free; certain features require a Suplmnt Pro subscription, described below.

Eligibility

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and you may not use them if you are under 13. If you purchase a subscription, you confirm that you are 18 or older, or that you have the consent of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

No Medical Advice

The content in the Services is provided for general informational purposes only and is not medical advice. It is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or the advice of a physician, pharmacist, or other qualified health provider. Nothing in the Services is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Statements about dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The App is not a medical device. Its label scanning, dose analysis, interaction notes, and self-experiment features are informational and record-keeping tools. A self-experiment you run in the App is a personal log, not a clinical trial, and its results are not a diagnosis and are not evidence of safety or efficacy for anyone.

Always consult a qualified health provider before starting, stopping, or combining any supplement, particularly if you are pregnant or nursing, have a medical condition, or take prescription medication. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read in the Services. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.

Suplmnt Pro Subscriptions

Some App features require Suplmnt Pro, an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store. You can use the rest of the App without subscribing.

Price and plans

Suplmnt Pro is offered in two plans. In the United States the prices are $8.99 per month and $39.99 per year. Prices in other countries are set through the App Store's regional pricing and are shown to you in your local currency before you buy. Prices are exclusive of any taxes Apple collects on your purchase.

We may change subscription prices. Any change is shown in the App and on the App Store before it takes effect, and Apple will ask you to confirm a price increase before it is applied to your renewal. If you do not agree to a new price, you can cancel before your next renewal date.

Free trial

The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for subscribers who have not used a Suplmnt Pro trial before. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial converts automatically into a paid annual subscription and your Apple Account is charged the then-current annual price. If you buy a subscription during a free trial, the unused portion of that trial is forfeited.

Automatic renewal

Suplmnt Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period, for the same period and at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges your Apple Account for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

How to cancel

You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings, not in the App and not on the Site: open the Settings app on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Suplmnt. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

Billing and refunds

All payments for Suplmnt Pro are processed by Apple under the terms of the Apple Media Services agreement between you and Apple. We never receive or store your payment card details, and we cannot see your payment method. Refunds are issued by Apple at its discretion under its own policies. We cannot issue, guarantee, or reverse a refund; to request one, use reportaproblem.apple.com.

What Pro includes

The features included in Suplmnt Pro may change as the App develops. We may add, remove, or change Pro features at any time. If we make a change that materially reduces what your active subscription provides, you may cancel, and you can request a refund from Apple as described above.

Your Information in the App

What you record in the App — the supplements you take, your doses and schedule, your scans, and your self-experiment entries — is stored on your device. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for any decision you make based on it. Deleting the App deletes that information, and we cannot recover it for you. See our Privacy Policy for the details of what the App stores and what it sends.

Accuracy of Information

We compile information from published research and public product databases and take reasonable care in doing so, but we do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free. Product label information, prices, and ratings may change without notice; verify them with the seller or manufacturer before relying on them. Label scanning depends on the photo you take and on the product databases we match against, and it can misread or mismatch a product. To report an error, email hello@suplmnt.app.

Pre-Release and Beta Builds

We distribute pre-release versions of the App through Apple's TestFlight. Beta builds are provided for testing, are more likely to contain defects, and may be changed or discontinued at any time. Your use of a beta build is also governed by Apple's TestFlight terms, and Apple collects diagnostic information about TestFlight builds as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property and Licensing

The structured evidence datasets published on the Site — the underlying data behind the rankings, ingredient pages, and evidence maps — are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, as declared in the Site's structured data. You may share and adapt that data with attribution.

All other content in the Services, including article text, artwork, design, the App's software, and the Suplmnt name and logo, is owned by Reseda Labs LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may quote reasonable excerpts with attribution and a link, but may not republish that content in whole without our permission.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the App, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services in any way that violates applicable law, interferes with their operation or security, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to them. Automated access to the Site is permitted to the extent allowed by its robots.txt file. Attribution is required when content from the Services is reproduced or used in generated output.

Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure

The Services carry no advertising, no sponsored content, and no affiliate links, and we receive no commission on any product purchase. Product grades, rankings, and mentions are editorial and cannot be purchased or influenced by any manufacturer or retailer.

Third-Party Links and Content

The Services link to third-party websites, including research databases, regulatory sources, and retailers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices.

Apple

These Terms are between you and Reseda Labs LLC only, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to a legal requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reseda Labs LLC and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Services or their content, including any decision you make about a dietary supplement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time and may delete the App from your device. We may suspend or end your access to the Services if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, survive it.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and by the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree that the state and federal courts located in Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Services, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. Nothing here removes any right you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
